Details
Experience the rush of the Zambezi at its best, upon the rapids that adrenaline lovers have deemed immensely satisfying. The Zambezi is Africa’s fourth longest river after the Nile, Congo and Niger rivers. It is also the longest east flowing river in Africa, flowing through six countries namely Angola, Namibia and Botswana then back along the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe finally discharging into the Indian Ocean at its delta in Mozambique. The river goes through gorges of basalt rock between 200 to 250 metres (660 to 820ft) high. These gorges are home to the most invigorating commercial white water rafting experiences which places it as a grade 5 river, the highest grade that a river can be graded for white water rafting.
